My first time in Oaxaca was in 2015 (See "San Bartolo Coyotepec" portfolio). Returning to Oaxaca 2 years later, in 2017, was yet another rewarding experience. I spent more time exchanging conversations with mothers and children. We all dedicated time in not only learning but also performing the tasks the children and Doñas have done for so many days and years in their live's. Equally, we shared our duties with them, they photographed us. Mostly, I believe, we enjoyed to exchange cultures and of course, each other's company. Zapata and San Bartolo feel like my home in Mexico.
